On Thursday 12 September 2024, an exclusive event was held for Voka – Kamer van Koophandel Mechelen in the picturesque setting of Milan’s Naviglio Grande.

The 30 participants had the opportunity to enjoy a unique experience on board of a boat, passing through the most iconic places in the city.

During the pleasant navigation, an expert guide explained the history and curiosities of the Naviglio Grande and its surroundings, offering guests an insight into the rich Milanese tradition linked to its historical canals.

The tasting of typical Sicilian cannoli, freshly filled for each guest, made the experience even more special adding a touch of typical Italian gastronomic sweetness to the event.

The boat tour ended at the Vicolo dei Lavandai, an historic alley located in a nook of the Naviglio Grande. A very well-preserved architectural jewel that left participants with an indelible memory of the old Milan.
